Frequently Asked Questions

You can register online through each auction listing or in person at the event. Registration typically requires valid ID and basic contact information. Online bidders may need to provide a credit card for verification.

L&H Auctions specializes in real estate, farm equipment, estate sales, and personal property auctions. We conduct both live and online auctions, depending on the type of items and seller preferences.

During a live auction, the auctioneer calls for bids and the item is sold to the highest bidder. Online auctions allow you to place bids over a set period of time. The highest bid at the close of the auction wins, subject to any reserve prices.

Buyers may be responsible for a buyer’s premium, which is a small percentage added to the final bid. Sellers pay a commission based on the items sold. All fees are disclosed clearly before the auction begins.

Seller payments are typically processed within 10 to 14 business days after the auction concludes. This allows time for buyer payments to clear and any final paperwork to be completed.
